Jason Alexander Survives Day 1A of WSOP Main Event

The 2011 World Series of Poker main event started on Thursday. The largest event of the WSOP began among constant industry concerns after all the crises that have emerged from the Black Friday indictments, but turnout during the first 57 events at the WSOP had been record-setting with the main event being no different.

Former world champions Greg Raymer (2004 Champion) and Jerry Yang (best known for being the co-founder and former CEO of Yahoo! Inc) busted on day one bring their WSOP to an early end this year. However, Comedian Jason Alexander best known for his role as George Costanza on the TV series Seinfeld , ended the day with 63,150 in chips. Alexander has made his presence known over the past few main events, but has yet to cash.
